The Trixie is exactly as described. Customer service is outstanding, quick delivery, only a hint of fine leather smell (certainly nothing objectionable), clasp works perfectly, and it appears this company is unique in that it actually takes pride in their merchandise. If only I could find a mini version of the Trixie, my search for the perfect wallet would be over. Now that I know there are real people working at the other end, I will chat with them about that possibility.

Love it! I used to carry a large purse and a separate 'card holder' for all the loyalty cards everyone gives you...I was able to transfer everything into the Trixie...saving me so much space AND weight in my handbag. Not only is it practical but the red leather looks great.

I have several big skinny wallets and I love them because they take up so little room in my purse. But they were all men's wallets. So when I saw saw the red trifold I was excited to order it. I waited quite a long time because it wasn't available. Now I have it and it is even better than I thought it would be. The leather is bright and soft. There are enough slots for my cards. The double pocket for bills is great. I use one for receipts and the change purse area is just an added bonus

I had ordered the Leather Trixie Tri-fold wallet in red. I definitely enjoy the red color and it immediately appears thinner than the typical standard as is said on the website. It appears sturdy with the stitching all around the sides. In my old wallet, I did keep a lot of things as far as cards and credit cards. When it came to fitting all of this things in my wallet, I realized that there were things I needed to leave out (as far as what I wasn't using much anymore) which is good in some way. Therefore it seems to accommodate a few less things. The vertical pockets inside the wallet flap don't accommodate a lot of cards like I thought. But the ones more on the inside that are horizontal do take more than one card, as was claimed, which is helpful. I still had to fit other cards also in the cash sections. The main drawback to me personally is the coin section. I feel that I couldn't put all the coins I had in my old wallet, because it looked like it was making the new wallet appear too bulky.

The wallettt is all said it was going to be but I was disapointed that it is so still. Hey soften them up a bit look more f eminine. I have4n't decided if I am going to keep it or not

I have to say that I wasn't sure this wallet would be any thinner than other brands, but I decided to give it a chance, and it's amazingly thin! Thanks, Big Skinny. I will definitely do business with you again.

I love this wallet. It really is less bulky. It also looks great, holds everything and is durable.

This is the second wallet I've purchased from Big Skinny. I love the smaller wallets for women and they truly don't take up too much room.

It is everything it was advertised as. Yes, the clasp can be a little finicky but the convenience of the wallet makes up for it.

I originally bought the microfiber bi-fold. I love the fact that it was thin, no matter how much I stuffed in it, but I really wanted more room and larger area to fit my money. Money in my bifold would stick out a bit. So I bought the Trixie tri fold and LOVE it. The leather is soft, I read some people complain it was stiff, but it's not as stiff as you think. It will soften more with time, but it's not hard like cheap leather. I love the roominess and I can fit EVERYTHING in this wallet: receipts, money (which no longer sticks out) all my gift cards, reward cards, ID, photos, etc. It's a perfect wallet and it really does stay thin!!!

I've been using my Leather Trixie Tri-Fold for over a week now and it does hold a lot of cards and still stays skinny, which I love. Before, I had most of my cards in a pocket in my purse and they would always fall out so I'd have to dig through my purse to find them. This wallet holds them all (I have 12 plastic cards in there plus a couple of paper rewards cards) and you'd never know there are that many in there by looking at the wallet from the outside. The only gripe I have is about the clasp. You really have to be precise when closing it. It's not like other wallets I've had where one side just seems to find the other and it locks in without much effort. I do agree with some other reviewers, that it's a little challenging to get the cards out of the pockets with multiple cards in them. But, overall, I'm happy with the wallet!

I bought this for my wife. She thinks it is great as it takes up much less room & weight, which is a big advantage for a disabled person.

I've been using my Leather Trixie Tri-fold wallet for almost 2 weeks. Like some of the other reviews mentioned, it did smell, but I just aired it out for a few days before I started using it. I love the slim profile, and the feel of the leather. Everything I wanted in it fits just fine. Right now, my only un-positive (I can't really call it negative) comment would be the coin holder doesn't stay zipped if there is alot of change in it. I guess that means I'll spend the coins before I spend any bills!

I bought this one for my wife. She loves the capacity and size.

I wanted to replace a long, bulky leather checkbook style wallet. This wallet has all the features I was looking for--coin compartment on back of wallet, 2 billfold compartments and credit card slots that are staggered enough so that the topmost card is easily identified with a glance. Takes up much less space in my purse. The red leather is very eye catching. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase and would recommend Big Skinny wallets to anyone.

Live up to it's statement - thin! Very impressive with the science behind this wallet. It really can fit every single cards and receipts I have and still small. I'm totally sold.

The wallet is truly thinner than most, yet has a number of pockets for credit cards. For wider ones that do't fit into slots, there is a space for those as well. I agree with the prior reveiwer that the leather had an odd odor. I haven't aired it out. have used the wallet about a week and the smell is still there. Made me wonder what process of dye was used. Also, no stamp on it that I found to confirm it is in fact genuine leather. overall, I like it and have gotten a few compliments.

fabulous wallet -- the best I have ever had! It truly is "The Big Skinny". Reasonably priced and excellent quality. This replaced a $400 leather wallet and is so much better.

Soft and beautiful leather

I've been using the Red Trixie leather wallet for almost 3 months now and am very pleased with it. It did have an odd smell when it first arrived but I just aired it out for a few days and the smell dissipated. The wallet is much thinner than the regular one I used previously. I don't put that many cards in the wallet, typically only one per sleeve, and the most I've tried to stuff in any one sleeve is 2 and it's not too bad. I actually used to work in the Cambridge area and the last time I was in the area and took out my wallet to pay for something, the cashier noticed my wallet and complimented it. Very happy with the wallet overall and I'll buy another one some time in the future for myself and/or as a gift!

It's as described--thin, stylish, but holds everything needed in a neat fashion. Love the product.

I like the wallet because it is light and compact. But I find it very difficult to take out credit cards when the pockets are filled. I am not happy about this and would get another wallet if I can find a better one for credit cards.

This wallet is substantially thinner and lighter than my last one. I have all but 6 gift cards in it because of my choice for organizational reasons not because there wasn't room. I carry many cards and I was amazed that this wallet could hold them all yet it was thinner. The best advantage was now my cross body purse has more room in it too.

The wallet is all it promised, thin and holds all my stuff. I had a beautiful leather wallet that I loved the look and quality of, but it was so thick and chunky. I carry a small purse and it just took up too much room. I couldn't decide on the leather or nylon one. I really like a leather wallet, so that's what I ordered. It wasn't what I expected. It does have an odd smell(as mentioned in other reviews--but so does the last pair of leather shoes I bought), but what really bothers me is that it isn't even close to being as nice (quality look & feel) as my old wallet. I think I should have ordered the nylon version. It would have been different enough that I wouldn't have compared it with my old wallet. I probably could have exchanged it, but I wasn't up for all that might involve. I also shouldn't have purchased this without seeing it in person. I do really love the size of it and that it holds all my stuff in such a small space.

I replaced a large thick wallet with this sleek one. Everything easily fits and is easily organized.

I love this wallet! So glad I stumbled upon the Big Skinny Website. Some of the slots do seem tighter than others and I can only put in 2 plastic cards per slot if I want to be able to remove the cards easily. I just rearranged so the items I use most are in the slots I seem to be able to remove from more easily. I haven't had the wallet long so I'm sure it will be broken in soon and the cards will slide in and out better at that time. I was able to fit everything from my old wallet in this new one and while it really isn't much thinner (due to the volume I have in it) it is 2-3" shorter and works better in my smaller purses. I am already recommending this wallet to my friends.

This wallet holds everything I had in my old one which was more than twice the size and much bulkier. This one slips into my small purses. The leather is beautiful, good quality and I am so pleased with my purchase. I will be ordering again in the future.

I ordered a billfold for my husband and saw this beautiful red leather wallet. Had to have one since I love red and the reviews were great. I do indeed love my wallet. It's design is very similar to the one I replaced but it is much thinner, sleeker, and prettier. The pockets are plentiful and I have found that from the beginning I can easily remove any of my cards. I will definitely recommend The Big Skinny to my friends.

I bought the Leather Trixie Tri-fold in Red after my Red Metallic Leather Trixie Tri-fold fell apart. The leather is a lot thicker and sturdier than the metallic version. I love the metallic red color but the leather is thin and didn't last too long. BigSkinny please make more colors for this awesome wallet!

nice wallet. Advertised as leather so I was a bit surprised to see that the only part of the wallet that is leather is the outside of it . The interior is fabric and I had/have difficulty getting cards in and out of slots....really, really tight. I like the look of the wallet and if the credit card pockets were a tiny bit larger itvwould be an awesome wallet.

Love my new red Trixie wallet. Held everything my old wallet held AND will fit in my pocket--something I couldn't do before. Thought I needed a bigger purse to hold my bulky wallet, but now I don't need one.

first i wanted to buy the monte cougar one, but than i decided to go for this smaller trixie. best choice ever, i threw my previous purse to trash the moment i opened the package:) i just lovelovelove this one! it's much smaller and doesn't weight so much, and it's cute:) and the zipper on the leather version is nicer than on my original trixie i use for travelling.

Have truly enjoyed slimest! Access to most used debits is awesome and love license pull out hole...bought my own Big Skinny after getty hubby one at a state fair booth..smell is kinda funky at first..put in ziploc bag with dryer sheet first week or so every night..not really impressed with finish of leather, looks very cheap..hope it wears and bends into into a custom fit.

love the wallet, this is my second one. This one has a problem as the magnetic clasp does not hold like the first one did. That basically is my only complaint.

Love it! I could hardly close my other tri-fold wallet. Now I can not only close it but it's very thin and doesn't take up near as much room in my purse. One of the best purchases I have ever made.

dont like it it looks cheap n smells bad i could have saved myself a few dollars n bought the nylon instead it was 2 expensive the quality is bad
