my old skinny wallet was canvas and worked great until the bill clip gave out... the leather wallet is OK... but the card slot on the right side is too small for a credit card... not so on the old wallet...

Love this wallet. I keep about 13 plastic cards, stamps and cash and it's not much thicker than my old money clip. Keep it in my front pocket and it's so light and comfortable that I hardly know it's there. Great product.

I did not find this wallet practical. Every time you open it to pay with a card, you will be flashing every bank note, fanned out, for the world to see. If you carry any amount of cash, you cannot be discrete with this wallet. The corners of the bank notes easily protrude from the edges of the wallet unless you take the time to line them up perfectly each time you close it, or make a conscious effort to not disturb them or hold them in place when you open it.

This is the wallet I have been searching for over the last few years. I prefer the money clip for my bills, but all the money clip wallets I found had too many pockets and were too thick, or had pockets that were too small, too few, or poorly located. Just purchased this wallet yesterday. Switched it out with my old wallet today. Used it three times today and absolutely loved it. Very impressed!

Wallet was exactly as described. At least 2/3 the thickness in my pocket with the same amount of stuff!!! Perfect for my needs.

I never carry my wallet in my back pocket for a number of reasons. I had a front pocket card holder with moneyclip that needed replacing after part of the clip attachment broke. This new wallet holds more, is lighter, makes it easier to access the cash and I no longer have a metal moneyclip on the outside of the wallet that periodically gets jammed into my leg. I don't like to carry my wallet in my back pocket, so this was a perfect wallet for me. I found it at an event in Atlanta and was considering a money clip and card holder. THEN i found BOTH! I am extremely pleased with how slim it is, how much it holds and the adjustable money clip! This wallet is awesome! Perfect for any pocket, but IDEAL if you choose to carry in the front pocket. I have had mine for a few years and am going to order my next one online because i haven't found a wallet that even comes close to comparing to this one.

The Leather Acrobat Money Clip Bi-Fold Wallet is everything it is promised to be. My old leather bi-fold wallet was 1 3/8" thick fully loaded with no cash in it, my new Leather Acrobat Money Clip Bi-Fold Wallet is 1/2" thick with all the same stuff in it plus adding the additional thickness of 8 bills of cash into it. I always used to put my cash in my pocket seperately to cut down on the bulk, I now put it in my wallet. i didn't know which version I liked better the leather or regular version and I was skeptical of the claims for how thin the leather would be so I bought both versions expecting to have to change from the leather to the regular version to get it to the thinness I wanted, I was wrong. Now what am I going to do twith the regular version? maybe someones getting a new wallet for their Birthday or maybe I'll just use it to change up occasionally

I purchased this wallet after seeing a buddies same exact one. I thought it was a cool idea after just seeing his, but when I got mine it wasn't as practical as I thought before. I don't know if mine is a imperfection or if all are the same, but my money clip portion is crooked and always shuts mis-aligned, its annoying but livable. I don't feel like going through the hassle of returning this one and waiting for another one, especially since I threw my last wallet away. Not my best buy but not my worst either.

This is because it gives him easy access to the rest of everything else in the wallet; credit cards, drivers license, cash, etc.... It was very difficult finding a wallet designed like this. I like this wallet. I previously had a very similar wallet (bi-fold with a money clip) by another company and they stopped producing it. I saw the one the Big Skinny offered and I just about flipped because I have not been able to find a bi-fold with a money clip anywhere. The construction is great and the materials seem like they are very durable. Only time will tell if they are actually durable. I would definitely recommend this wallet for anyone, especially a realistic minimalist. It is small and compact, yet has enough room for all your belongings. One thing that I am weary of is the "window"pocket for your ID. I hate these on wallets because the window is pointless. Almost every situation that requires you to show your ID also requires you to pull it out of your wallet, rendering the "window" as useless. The fact that the window is plastic makes me think that it will be the first item on this wallet to break.

The wallet seems nice. Unfortunately, it really wasn't any thinner than my existing leather wallet. Now I have two relatively thin wallets. Not really what I was looking for.

I am VERY pleased with this wallet. I worried slightly about all of my cards and pictures and ID's fitting in the thin wallet at first but everything fit with room to spare! Also I was a bit apprehensive about the money clip and how sturdy it would be and once I had it in my hands all worries evaporated! I don't like bulky wallets, o I jumped at the opportunity to buy this wallet. I have had it for a week or so, and it appears to be everything it is described to be. I got one with a leather exterior, and I was just showing my wife today how thin this new wallet is. This way, I can put it in my front pocket without it being bulky.

Got this for my husband because I purchased a Big Skinny wallet for myself earlier and just love it. My husband's first comment was that the wallet was too small. I helped him weed through his old big wallet (that had fallen out of his pocket at least 5 times in 2 months), set up his cards and cash in the new Big Skinny wallet and try it out. He now LOVES it, says it fits in his front pocket and has no worries about it falling out and getting lost. Love your products, all our wallet purchases will be from Big Skinny from now on!

What can I say except to check that the clip is tight from time to time, this wallet will last you a long time. This is my second one, and I still use the first for all the crap I don't need to carry with me everywhere I go.

Got this as a Father's day gift. With all the contents of my old wallet in it, it is still thinner than the old wallet is empty. It's very soft and flexible even with cards in it. The money clip is snug and secure. It has plenty of storage spaces, and seems very well built. It also looks very nice.

I admit it - I was a sceptic. I can't stand the "bulk" of a traditional wallet, and for years have used a money clip/ cardholder or a business cardholder with money held separately in my pocket. When I heard about Big Skinny and read the reviews, I figured I'd give it a try. Glad I did! No longer do I have to carry money and a few cards separately. Now I can carry them all in one place, with virtually no bulk. I'm sold on Big Skinny from now on.

I received this wallet as a gift after I had been using a plastic card holder for 6 months. There was an immediate difference as I was able to add some collector cards that used to collect dust at home without adding the wallet bulge. Now I am not embarrassed to take out my wallet in public. I do wish the clip was a little tighter as bills may shift left and right while the wallet is open.

I love this wallet. I was moving away from a wallet/money clip and wanted to keep the same minimal, slim size and feel and definitely accomplished that with this wallet. I've only recently started using it but have no complaints at all. It's large enough to keep the basics and prevents me from loading it up with unnecessary paper and cards.

I previously had the subject wallet in fabric and really liked it. Since I have always had leather wallets, I decided to try the leather one.

Very good wallet, much thinner than my other "traditional" leather wallet. Only thing preventing a perfect rating is the clip in the wallet. It's fine so far but I am not sure it will last more than a year or so before needing to be replaced. This is of course a prediction & hopefully it lasts for many years but it just seems a bit flimsy and might wear down after a short while. Despite that I would recommend this if you're looking to thin out an out of control leather wallet of similar shape/size.
