My daughter and I bought one at the Food and Gift festival in Tacoma, WA. It's got all the part a wallet should have, but is so much lighter. I got the vinyl one, and it is holding up better than expected-no scuffing or breakage at the seems or edges. My daughter got the leather one and is so happy with it, she wanted a second on in black, because she got a brand new, high end purse and she wanted a wallet to update the look.

Nice wallet. Love the color. After I put my checkbook inside it has been a challenge keeping it snapped shut but overall I am pleased. I am hoping the leather will stretch a little in time.

This wallet is light and able to hold all my cash and credit cards without adding bulk or weight. It was the only logical choice to replace my old Big Skinny wallet (which I had for YEARS!)

This was given as a gift. I own one myself and it changed my life so I had to share this great find. The recipient called to say how much she loved it. She is trying to scale down and commented on carrying less weight and that she loves the color. I also gave a billfold to my husband though he didn't need it because it really will change your life! He says he loves it. It is so much easier to carry and functional. His other wallets are now in the back of the drawer. I've recently purchased a girls billfold for another friend. Can't wait to give it to her next month! These products are lightweight, durable, practical and pretty. I've only bought items in leather as it dresses it up a little.

The wallet is working very well for me. Truly skinny, lightweight. It is holding many cards, paper money and some coins in the back. Color I ordered is beautiful. I will mention that you cannot expect the snap closure to click in in a substantial manner. Its snap closure has a very a soft action and you are sometimes not sure it has actually closed.

I had this wallet previously in the nylon and LOVED it - so lightweight and yet so roomy, nicely organized and having the coin purse is a great feature. The leather adds a touch of elegance and I think won't show the wear from bumping up to the other bulky items in my purse like the nylon one did. I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend this brand to anyone.

This wallet is absolutely wonderful. I have long been a fan of small wallets. The smaller the better. I bought this wallet for a friend months ago. She loves it so much I decided I needed to buy one for myself. Best thing I ever did! It is amazing how much you can put in this wallet and yet it remains slim. Credit cards, insurance cards, club store cards, they all fit. This wallet takes up even less room in my purse than the small wallets I usually buy. I highly recommend it!

This wallet is so sleek, pretty and lightweight!!! it holds everything I had crammed in my other wallet (plus more)?€? I used to use the Big Skinny smaller fold over wallet (for years) and I loved it but I had that thing so crammed packed it wouldn't hardly snap closed anymore (that's how much you can put in these things people)?€? so I tried 3 different *normal wallets* and (1) all my stuff would not fit in them (2) they were heavy and made my purse even heavier to carry (sigh) sooooo I kept searching everytime I went to the Fair for the Big Skinny wallet (because that's where I bought my first one (at a wallet booth there) and could not find a bigger one to replace my smaller one (sadness)...then finally a lightbulb moment of *look on the internet* (duh) and there they were!!!!! Big Skinny wallets are the only ones that I will buy!!! I can fill it with all my credit, debit, medical cards, cash, checks, coupons, gift cards and there is still room for folded documents too! I purchased a designer brand wallet after my 1st Big Skinny purchase only because I fell for the color and texture of the fabric. The designer wallet couldn't hold half of what the Big Skinny wallet could, and I ended up carrying a second smaller wallet as well. I used it for about 3 months before donating it to charity and purchasing my 2nd Big Skinny wallet. Big Skinny wallets will be the ONLY wallet in my handbags from here on! I have been so pleased with the Slimvelope. It is stunningly well designed. Minimal in appearance and yet holds all the parts that needed a checkbook type wallet at least twice as thick with sticky zippers. I particularly like that the card pockets are snug without being too tight and the paper money pockets don't require surgical precision to be able to fasten the clasp. No need to change wallets for a small bag. Purple leather does look and feel good.

I am very happy with my leather Slimvelope Wallet. I needed more room in my smaller purse and the Big Skinny wallet gave me that. It still holds everything my bigger wallet did and has a nice supple leather finish. I do not have to struggle to fit my paper money in it like I did with my previous wallet. I am thankful that I discovered it when i saw that my sister-in-law had one.

This leather slimvelope wallet is the dressed up version of the nylon wallet. I like it when I'm going out on the town. It is not as lightweight or thin as the nylon version, of course, but it's still thinner and more light weight than most. This product is another winner from Big Skinny!

I purchased the women's slimvelope wallet in Red leather. The leather has a great feel and look to it. I can't believe everything I had in my thick wallet fit into this one easily. This wallet has to be 2/3 smaller than the big bulky one I had. This wallet also stayed flat as promised and seems to feel lighter as well. I love that my pocketbook has so much more space. Great fit for my hand as well. couldn't be happier w/my purchase.

Love this wallet. It's slim. The leather is nice and supple. It has enough pockets and dividers for me to separate my notes and store my checkbook.

I ordered this wallet in blue leather recently. It is a beautiful colour, as skinny as promised, has lots of room,and is very functional. I'm very happy with my choice.

I don't order a lot of stuff online but took a chance on this product as it seems to be exactly what I was looking for. It did not disappoint. Love the colour and it truly is slim even with all the credit card spaces filled. My only minor issue is that when filled with Canadian Loonies and Toonies (change) the clasp is sometimes harder to get closed. However this is really not surprising since our coins are so big. Would recommend this no problem and down the road will purchase again. :)

I bought the Slimvelope wallet in red. The color is sharp and cheerful. The color of the lightweight interior matches the leather exterior. The size and shape of this wallet is sleek and versatile. It fits well in my smaller purses but does not get lost in larger purses. I think the color helps this wallet stand out inside a purse. This wallet would not fit well in most pockets but the size is just right for carrying essential IDs, credit cards, and some cash.

Was exactly as promised. Like other reviews, my only negative is the snap doesn’t always snap. Love the color, everything in my old wallet fit and took up one third of the space as my old wallet. Will recommend to friends and will purchase from bigskinny in the future. Thank you

This is the 2nd time I have owned a 'Big Skinny". This one is fine but the one I purchased several years ago seemed sturdier and the magnet stronger.

After a year of carrying my checkbook *and* my folding big skinny wallet (which was five years old and still going strong), I got an email from big skinny and realized I could buy a wallet to hold everything: cards, cash, and checkbook. The slimvelope is working perfectly for this purpose. I have dozens of cards, cash, change, and a checkbook in my new wallet. I love it. It still fits in my smaller purse as well. I will always buy big skinny for myself and my husband. They are THE. BEST. WALLETS.

Only a few ounces lighter than my old leather envelope wallet but so much slimmer. Now fits nicely in a purse without bulging the sides. Holds everything my old one did which is a lot.

Best wallet I ever had. I just love it!!!

This is the second time I have purchased this wallet. There was nothing wrong with the gray leather one but it got a little dirty after using it for a very long time. It never tore or stretched out, even though I squeezed in more than one card in some of the slits. The important thing is that I gave up my name brand wallets like Kate Spade and Brighton because of the extra weight and bulkiness that came with them. If you are concerned about using a non status brand, stick with the leather. There is very negligible difference in the weight between their leather and nylon. Yes their are more stylish wallets but it is totally worth the trade off. BTW, my mom and sister are converts as well.

I LOVE this wallet. It is so light, and so thin, and, yet, it holds EVERYTHING I had in my old, big, heavy, fat wallet. The other plus is that it is very good looking. I have the purple leather version and get compliments on it every time I take it out of my purse.

I really like my new wallet. I was able to get all of my items from my old wallet into it with ease, and the thin size is very confortable to carry. I just wish that the snap closure was either a little bigger, or higher up on the wallet to close. I will definitely buy another one of these wallets in the future and/or for a gift for someone. Good product, good purchase. Love the color.
